The day’s activities begin with an 8 a.m. breakfast at the Clintonville Woman’s Club. Both sit-down and grab-and-go options will be available.

A flag-raising ceremony is planned for 8:45 a.m., followed by these activities:

9:30 a.m. — Patriotic Pet Parade, along the north side of the Whetstone Recreation Center

10 a.m. — Bike Decorating Contest and Parade, in the lower part of Whetstone Park, near the large open shelterhouse

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Youth Fishing Derby at the Whetstone Casting Ponds

10 a.m. — NCIL All-Star Baseball and Softball Games

11 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Community Festival with games, information, food trucks and more (all near the Rec Center and horseshoe pits)

11 a.m. – 4 p.m. — Live music will be performed near the Rec Center

2 – 4 p.m. — Classic Car Display in parking lot south of the Whetstone Library
